16 Passenger Van

VW vans are also called the Euro. Production of the Euro van began in the year 1992 in Europe. It was introduced in the United States as a 1993 model as a passenger van and Weekenders MV model with and without pop-top. The full version euro van camper was introduced in the U.S. in 1995.

VW was known as top pop Westfalia Weekender Multi-Van (MV). These vehicles have been considered difficult vans above, the difference being inside and pop-top installed by Westfalia. Weekend did not sink, refrigerator, stove, but has two rear seats facing. A seat is fixed behind the driver with an electric range below (pop top versions only) and another seat is fixed behind the passenger seat. The characteristics of 1993-1996 are the Audi line 5-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine power of 130 hp. This Euro V. van was stopped in 1995 and again set up in 1999 with a VR6 and remained nearly unchanged until the end of production in 2003.

campers were available in full in 1995 in the United States and they were known as Winnebago camper conversions. Full VW motorhomes have been delivered within Winnebago naked, but loaded with comfort options that were installed before by VW. Winnebago would install other features such as Top Pop, sink, stove, fridge, cupboards, ovens and side windows. All Euro van Camper Winnebago had gray interiors.

In 1997, VW switched to the VR6, which is 2.8-liter 15-degree V6. It is known as "VR". All trucks VR6 Euro 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transaxle. Engine also improved, is spent driving by wire system and multiple ignition coil. Even if HP is passed to 64ch, the couple has only increased by 8 lb-ft to 188 lb-ft. Other changes that were made in 2001 are: 15-inch wheel drive has been replaced by 16-inch wheels, rear stabilizer bar was added, the rear suspension has been increased to 1 inch and brakes improved. Interiors were the same as a 2000 model.
