How much would it cost to build your own dock with 8 layers? Just moved into a small lake community where the dock is rather poor and there is talk about it to be replaced completely. I think we can win many families to work (as it does not seem to be rocket science) and purchase a DIY kit. probably 30-40 with 8 sheets (4 each side). Neighbors said that houses with their own private docks paid about $ 19K for only their unique - it has aluminum and is a bit fanicier. We just think the wood is very good = trex probably put on top for the walking well. We want a certain type of bumper or side rubber Guardone too. Any help or info would be helpful. Located in ID.
At least one hundred thousand dollars. Docks are not cheap, regardless of the size and number of layers.
