Boat Flooring

Boat FlooringHow can you remove snow and ice from a low boat floor?

I recently bought a bass boat, unfortunately, the former owner had discovered during a storm of snow / ice. I need to know how to remove ice and snow without damaging the carpet or floor.

I use a plastic dustpan. It is small enough to fit in most areas, and it does Hark the carpet. It is even fairly well with ice. You may have to leave the ice in some places but we had more snow this year than in recent years. I hope this helps.

Not an issue in my part of the world, I must admit. You can use a light box - this is exactly what it looks like a box with a connector strut and bulb incandescent vents and grilles - and used to heat interior of the boat and keep the moisture away in storage and good to heat the glue etc. A kind of ventilation is necessary to allow the flow of air into the vessel so that moisture can escape during and not a sure-fire idea, but it can help. I have a heater I use for painting rooms and boats at temperatures below C. 15, there is an element of 2300 watts in a horizontal drum with a fan to blow air through and is a professional tool and there are gas powered versions around. I really do not like gas because they are very dangerous in confined spaces and use a flame, I will not use them myself, but they would work quickly with a little violin. I would not let the big heater / blower UN-assisted or another.

Flooring! this is what you have in a home, you mean the advice unique boards. use a shovel to the carpet if they are there, if they are covered with snow how do you know it is made carpet? if the carpet, on the catwalks it is stupid because it would decay as the water will keep them and you drag them, let them dry under a cover open regularly.

You really can not hear you understand this?? Thinking of owning a boat, but can not think of anything to solve your problem?? WAIT for warm weather ---- you will not use the boat now anyway. COVERAGE OF THE BOAT - the sun will eventually heat the air under cover ---- evaporating snow and ice. Plaster the house and cover it and stop watching. Good luck

Warm weather. Snow and ice will melt and then drain on the drain hole. Make sure the cap is removed. park in the sun and cover with a tarp or in a dark garage heated. Good luck

My first response would be towed to Florida.

Second, rent a heated garage and let it thaw. Remember to pull the plug and the inclination to its bow.
