I have personally used these waters on paper and on the lakes. I bounced off the rocks and dragged across rocks and have never had a leak. rapidly swell and firm. They are not cheap, but much less expensive than disk styles. Please do not buy a cheap INFLATABLE. These are professional quality and the only ones I recommend. They can be shipped to you (I think they do international freight), packed in a trunk, and put in a closet for the next trip. Just think ................. they work for me. Todd
