Where can I file my 10 'sailboat in the water in downtown Charleston, SC? I moved to Charleston, SC and try to lie closest to the downtown (south of Calhoun) as possible, but we'll probably just north of Canon. I own a small 10 'sailboat and I intend to keep it in a garage, driveway, or yard if I can find an affordable place to store it near a place down . My main question is where can I drive my boat to go out for a few hours can I park my car and the trailer while I'm sailing?
My other questions are: 1) are the neighborhoods north of Canon relatively safe? Ideally, we will have little yard for my boat. and 2) Is there a place for affordable storage (such as storage units) fall near a boat in the city?
Thank you in advance for any and all advice.
I recommend you contact one of the yacht clubs and marinas along Lockwood Blvd / Drive. They could have a dock Dingy / typically $ 400 a year. When you pull the boat onto a floating dock. Then, storage, trailer and parking are all resolved ....... As for "relatively secure" Yes, it is relatively safe, I would say that most of the city (note: no rating) safely.
would be a better place Lake Murray. further, but Charleston is not ideal for sailing.
