Charter Boat Insurance

Posted on April 16, 2010.
Charter Boat InsuranceWhat should I rent a boat to Carribien?

I'd like to rent a boat to Bermuda and possibly Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

I want to know:

What permissions do I need to charter the boat?
What kind of insurance do I need?
What are the implications of immigration for the return to the United States?
What kind of documents do I?
What visa, if I need to U.S. citizens five years and four U.S.
permanent residents?
Is there a type of record needed?
Is there a threat of being arrested / stolen by pirates from the sea?
How is the weather?
How long does it take to travel from South Florida and Savannah or New Brunswick, Georgia in the Bahamas?
Does it change if I go on a pleasure trip to nowhere (no land or calling on any foreign port) and return to the U.S. after several days?
How much fuel, food and what kind of boat you recommend to travel just to the Bahamas? In Jamaica?
How long would it take?
What would be the best time to travel?
What is a Site where I can get more information?

Here are some websites regarding charter boat.
