Dragon Boat RestaurantWhat cool places should my team go to Vancouver?

Thus, my dragon boat team is on to Vancouver for six days and we have never been in the region, since we have about five days of free time we need something cool to do. (Shopping, dining, etc.) We also need to eat meals on our own way, it would great if you can give me some good restaurant in Vancouver.
Please list as many places as possible and good restaurant.
Thank you!

"Hi "...... Yay !!!!!!!!!!!........ Dragon boating ........ you love to watch the race in False Creek!

Ok a long-term answer, but here goes ............ One of the things that you should get a "pass" that is good on the bus, the Sky Train, Bus and the Sea (cheap visit to the port of North Vancouver ).... it gives you access to Lynn Canyon and access Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain and over the Sky Ride to the top
and you will be able to see the orphanage Grizzly, Raptor flight demonstration and lumberjack show .... all great stuff ..

With a pass, you can visit via the sky train and all the peripheral areas (Burnaby, New Westminster, etc. etc.)
Downtown Metro is 2nd in Burnaby Canada. largest shopping center next to the West Edmonton Mall and the Skytrain Burnaby and stops there.

Greyhound goes to Whistler (Home for the Winter Games in 2010) from Vancouver and it's certainly worth a look at ... Sea to Sky Highway is spectacular, and rather interesting at times! lol But then again a full day is needed! If you go the "Zip Line" is a hoot, and the gondola.

I throw in a web cam in Whistler you can watch ...... also take a look at the Gallery section ......

Victoria is certainly achievable with Pacific Coach Lines (Google them) from the bus depot downtown but you'll need a full day and the ferry is pretty amazing, you know, eagles and killer whales ... Not every trip, but a little. * Lol *

Now with regard to downtown Vancouver is beautiful there are a variety of things to do, from Granville Island, Gas Town, Robson Street, Chinatown, Stanley Park, Vancouver Art Gallery, the Belvedere, the Vancouver Aquarium, Vancouver Museum and the Centre, Imax Theatre and the shopping and plenty of pubs and large multinational "food" places ... too, too, too many to mention! * Lol

I suggest you "Yahoo" or "Google" these places mentioned above and you'll be pleasantly surprised because they are all easily accessible in particular Granville Island and Stanley Park.

You find when you are in that Vancouver is a safe city and we can walk and enjoy all the facets it has to offer easily!

Spectacular views of the ocean and mountains, and beaches (English Bay, Kitsilano Beach and Wreck) are free, of course! * Lol *

I do not know if this is your idea of entertainment, but something that you can very well enjoy the "Museum of Anthropology" at UBC .. he is world class in fact and explains it to British Columbia early days (Ice Age) and one of the best "First Nations" exhibits, without exception, everywhere in the world ... seriously!

Anyway there is tons to do and you will not get bored!

Here are some interactive maps ... for navigation and a good website regarding Vancouver ......

Hope that helps and has a "Welcome" in Vancouver and good to see you guys and girls. " * S * (Michael C)
