The best place to use the remote control boats in Richmond, VA? I have an electric powered hovercraft that the warm weather is encouraging me to retire. I want to see how it actually operates on the water, though. It needs a flat body, smooth freshwater. Does anyone know of any Good Places to try, as in places that are not going to be upset with you run a remote control electric jet skis on their lake or pond?
The only place where I think you can go to Richmond Park is Byrd. They have two artificial ponds ranging from about 1-2 feet deep. There are ducks and geese in the park and the park can get people in the middle of the summer afternoon.
This is a nice park with hindsight, but nice, and there is no offers that you can not put boats or other objects in the water. It should not be a problem at all.
Have fun sailing.
