Im a 25 in the U.S. Navy, I worked on aircraft engines. Get devorsed, need to leave my country needed change. Where to go to Melbourne, Sydney, Perth or? would like to find a job and be sponsored, but will not hire blind. go to college with my GI Bill to get my foot in the door. like making dirt bike, jet ski, play hockey, and meet pretty girls. any help would be great. already many sites go to school and citizenship. personal view perfered. Melbourne and Sydney are the major cities. I can not say much about Perth, but because I have not been there. I would say that if you're looking to lead a very active sporting life, then Sydney is probably the best choice in Melbourne. Melbourne is a wonderful city has much to offer, but it took a little less agitation. You may find it more difficult to find what you are looking for.

Sydney is a beautiful city that has more to offer beyond the borders is a big city. Turn around and I'm sure the area has all that and more to offer. Remember though, it can be very expensive to live there.

I think the best thing to do is put in place for some time and go see for yourself what role you want to establish roots. An ordinary tourist visa you can get a 3 month stay in Australia, but notes that not give you the right to work. Your local travel agent can advise you on how to acquire one.

You can not go to Sydney, we have the best climate, best of all worlds and the port is much more a port city with beautiful beaches. Larger than others with more visitors than other handsets. Sydneys a party town, when the USS Missouri was here several months ago parts of the city have been draped in "Star Spangled Banner", you will not find elsewhere that hospitality!
