What are the qualities of the personality / traits needed 2 BA large deck or other on a luxury mega yacht /? To sum it up:
Work hard, 12 hours a day (or more), seven days a week.
Always have a smile, even when treated like dogs by rich snobs.
You must have the right look (not fat, under 30, clean cut, not usually a minority, no tattoos, piercings not, and be U.S., Canada or the United Kingdom) be prepared for a large number of discrimination in the world of yachting.
You need to STCW-95 Basic Safety Training, a class 1000USD $ 5 per day.
You must be willing to work for 6-12 months without leave.
No drugs or alcohol at work. Drunk / drugged = Pay your way to the house (guess how much a round trip ticket to Tahiti costs in the short term?).
It's a job, not a vacation.
