If I missed the 1st 2 days at a new school?!?! HELP!? My grandfather called all my cousins (there are 6) to sail on his yacht, great in the Chesapeake Bay (Maryland) for a few days to get around all the beautiful islands around. He always takes the guys every year and this year we convinced him to take girls. But dates that almost anyone could do, it is August 7 to 11 and my school starts Aug. 10. So I would have to fly by myself (13 years) because my mother needs to be there with my brother for his first day. Do you think it's a good idea to miss two days of school? And his new school (and the new school that the same people) I really want to go! But do you think it's a good idea? Thank you!
I say go for it. School will be waiting for your return. Have fun with your grandfather and his cousins.
many doors open to talk to your teacher about it and explain that you do not want to miss and if she understands that to go have fun!
helpss hope!
As you the opportunity to meet your teacher, explain that you have the opportunity to do something this year, you really want to do for a long time. Tell him you will miss the first two days.
I do not think you miss the first two days of a new school. Especially if you do not know anyone but if you know people move forward on the journey and ask a friend what you missed.
NO! Never miss the first days of school because that is when you make a good first impression! Plus there are people to meet and know the names! You might as well be called and considered the new girl
