Any use of the service navigation Moorings? How was your experience with it? Do you charter? the use of a cook? What type and size of boat? Would you recommend? also what port did you use?
we think of using them for our honeymoon. We are both avid sailors, so we do not intend to use a guide or a cook. we just, Tortola. Would you recommend them, and this, in
honeymoon? Thank you =]
Last spring we sailed bare (without cooking, Capt, guide) of Footloose Tortola (Branch Moorings cheaper) and I loved it. We chartered a 36 and size of the boat were a bit small for 4, this year we are going to 40.3. Sailing in the BVI is great - the line of sight, ropes, anchors easily and steady winds. We had some small problems with the boat (a blunder and lost gas engine dirty) and Footloose was there with great service. Keep in mind this is the tropics and there are lotsa bugs around, it not uncommon to find evidence of bugs on the boat.
