What is the difference between regular boat and canoe? I think rent a canoe for the first time on a camping trip this summer and before the trip. This is a local event of the outrigger canoeists house open, and I wonder who is going and watching the boat in no way helps me to learn to paddle regularly. Are they totally different and I would be better to read books about canoeing? or will it be a good opportunity?
Outrigger canoes a buoyancy aid overhang next to the dugout. It usually works like training wheels on a bicycle. You do not need a boat unless you are going to travel the ocean. Pleasure boats are inherently stable. maximum stability is achieved if you paddle in a kneeling position. Join a club Canoeing local. Take classes boat. DIY Few paddlers never learn to paddle in a qualified manner. Enjoy ....
Cono A pendulum is much more stable. He floats on one or both sides. A bit like training wheels on a bike.
