Try to learn some things? Every day I learn more about boating. I asked a couple questions here. Looking back, they seem a bit silly now! I want to buy a boat capable of being a live-aboard and be able to make the coastal waters and inter-coastal waterway. Until I think I learned is that a trawler with a cockpit or fly bridge will offer more usable space. I also included the size is important when it comes to marinas. Today the question is, what items you wish to have? Builder toilet, automobile, electric or manual, gas or electric stove and refrigerator., Gas or diesel, etc.. Back to the bookstore tomorrow! Thank you in advance.
Yeah generator would be nice.
I prefer the refrigerators and gas stoves, propane is readily available and you can win.
You will trawler? Then diesel.
Pass the book store and get out on the water. When you've spent some time on the water all the answers become clear. You learn very quickly it will be scary.
Good luck and enjoy the season.
You start by asking you questions. What kind of life I want / need? Do I care about resale value? What can I maintain? What kind of conversation I want to do?
In general, keep things simple. The least mobile parts / systems less that can break. Quality pays, but pays to buy at a discount too. In the long term operating costs is also important. You can not do too much research. There is an overload of help forums on the web, some interactive, but a lot of comments. The boat is a tool to adapt to employment and labor.
