Sailing Instructor Courses

I thought about making RYA Dingy Sailing Instructor Course ...
I was wondering if anyone has experiece they could share with me ...
So how old is the average person on the course?

To make the RYA DI (dinghy instructor course), you must have at least 16. You must be able to do the basics of sailing and have sailed or raced for several seasons that you need to show aplitude sail.

You must take a test before the test if you are good enough to be able to sail the course. This is mainly to show you your talents to MOB and sailing without a rudder / drift, stopping at the buoys, etc.

In the actual test, there will be a theory session, where you can learn to teach, then a practical session where you can show what you've learned by teaching a lesson, like the five essential elements or broaching .

To answer your question as long as your at least 16 years and have a lot of sailing experience, everyone can do.
